Mike Huckabee for President

Friday, November 30, 2007 23:51 by Charles B. Lowers

I would like to officially announce my endorsement of Mike Huckabee for President of the United States.

There is no clearer choice.  Mike Huckabee appears to be a man of deeply held convictions and faith.  In word and deed Mike Huckabee is pro-life, pro-family, and pro-homeschooling.  Conservative, articulate, and likeable... I like Mike.

If you have been waiting to support a Presidential candidate, now is the time to consider carefully and act.  Mike Huckabee needs your support.  Mike Huckabee has shown that he can win Iowa.  Give him your support and contributions so he can win South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Florida too.

Mike Huckabee can beat Hillary Clinton (as well as Barack Obama or John Edwards) next year.

Please pray that God guides Mike Huckabee's steps and his heart.  And pray that Mike Huckabee's victory glorifies God.

I can only assume you've prayed long and hard before recent endorsement of Mike Huckabee. There is so much wrong with this that I now pray you will make headlines by changing your mind and endorsing the only candidate who is not just more of the same, that is Ron Paul. Please read the linked article here and really think about what is going on. Thank you!

When I was in high school and college, I thought Ron Paul was great and a man of principle... I really did. But that was 15 to 20 years ago when I gave heed to the conspiracy theories that the CFR ran the country. Since then, Ron Paul has developed the taste for pork and I've gotten a lot fatter.

My main concern with Ron Paul is that he does not have a reasoned view of Islam. As I just noted yesterday, Islam is an evil the likes of Fascism and Imperialism. The Jihad will not stop until all mankind has been forced into submission of Islamic rule or killed -- the United States stands today as the only power willing and capable of destroying or containing this threat to liberty. (Communist China might be capable of destroying or containing Islam in the near future, but why trade one tyranny for another?)

I do agree with Ron Paul and the Constitution that only Congress has the power to declare war. And, God bless him for his pro-life stance.

Ironically, the Internet has given life to Ron Paul's campaign success. But, the Internet was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). So, don't you think the CFR controls that too? So, where are all these online donations for Ron Paul coming from? Perhaps the CFR is funding Ron Paul to discredit the CFR conspiracy theories?!?

Sorry, I'm making light of the CFR thing, but I'm also poking fun at my younger, naive self. A younger Ron Paul for President for a younger country -- Ron Paul 1988 -- but 911 changed things for me.
