"Our Road to Romance"

A Christian Homeschoolers' Love Story

Living as a single who desires marriage can be perplexing.  Especially in the current culture where virtue has become increasingly rare and traditional Christian norms have been steadily eroding.  Dating?  Courtship?  Date...ship?  How exactly is this supposed to play out?

As Christians who desired to glorify God on their journey towards marriage, Richard and Liz prayed, sought wise counselors, and watched a fantastic love story unfold.  Inspired by God's faithfulness in their own romance, they now aim to encourage and guide others by clarifying key principles on this murky topic. In this exciting talk, you will learn about:

  • Our Story: From Homeschooled Kids to Happily Married Adults,
  • No Regrets: Aspects of Our Journey We're Proud Of,
  • Lessons Learned: What We'd Encourage our Kids to do Differently, and
  • Future Stories: Preparing the Next Generation for Godly Romance

Don't miss this month's meeting!  Invite a friend to come (with their spouse) - they'll be glad you did!

Richard and Elizabeth Wickham are homeschool graduates.  Richard graduated from CBU with his BA in Communications, minor in Film.  Liz graduated with her BA in music from Thomas Edison State University.  They've been married for two years and just welcomed their first child, Ridgely Christopher Wickham, in July of this year.  Their favorite activities include hosting fellowship nights for young adults, traveling, and just talking together at the day's end.  They joyfully anticipate homeschooling their family together.
